Description
The XGS228 snaps over the floorplate of a SIG P226 magazine and seats it in a P228, P229 or M11. It covers the sharp edge of the steel floorplate and sets a finger rest below the frame. On its own, the longer SIG magazine leaves a step below the frame. The XGRIP fills it, drawn to the SIG’s own grip lines so it looks like part of the pistol. Its shape is based on the anthropometrics of the hand and wrist, giving the little finger a full surface to hold instead of an edge. It is cut to seat the magazine at the right depth, and no deeper. Nothing on the pistol is drilled, cut or replaced. Made for factory P226 magazines with the original 42 mm floorplate. Newer magazines with the longer 45 mm floorplate do not fit.
