SHIPPING
Onyx Arms usually ships via USPS. A different shipping provider may selected based on the size, contents & value of the product being shipped at Onyx Arms discretion.
Depending on the value of the product being shipped, a signature may be required to receive the product. A tracking number will be provided by email on all orders. Please note that USPS tracking is very limited and may not show the progress of the shipment until delivered.
If you received an email from us with a tracking number, the order has been physically dropped off by the next business day to USPS. Even if nothing is updated in the system, the package is usually on its way to you. We have been seeing very high volume of orders not being scanned in as received by USPS even though they physically have the parcel. At that point and time the order is out of our hands and control to force USPS to move that package in a timely manner. Please be patient and hopefully movement begins on your order through USPS. DO NOT EMAIL US CONSTANTLY ASKING FOR AN UPDATE ON YOU ORDER IF YOUVE RECEIVED A TRACKING NUMBER!
Onyx Arms ships CONUS ONLY which is to all 50 states in the US including Alaska & HI.
Please note that due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, our parcel carriers cannot guarantee that they can deliver in the promised timeframe due to increased demand and logistical delays due to the virus. Onyx Arms cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivery due to Parcel Carrier’s fault.
Ammo Restriction States:
Alaska: We cannot ship to Alaska as transportation by Air is prohibited by law in 49CFR
California: Can only be shipped to a Firearms License holder or a Licensed Ammunition vendor. Onyx Arms will not ship any ammo at all to California.
Chicago: We cannot ship ammunition to the city of Chicago, Illinois.
Hawaii: We cannot ship to Hawaii as transportation by Air is prohibited by law in 49CFR
Illinois: Onyx Arms will not ship any ammo to the entire state of Illinios
Massachusetts: Can only be shipped to Firearms Licensed Dealer. Onyx Arms will not ship any ammo to the entire state of Massachusetts.
New Jersey: We will not ship any ammunition to the entire state of New Jersey.
New York City: Ammunition can only be shipped to Firearms licensed holder. Onyx Arms will not ship any ammo to New York state as a whole.
KNOW YOUR LOCAL & STATE LAWS BEFORE PURCHASING AMMO AND / OR “HIGH CAPACITY” MAGAZINES. IF YOU CAN NOT HAVE AMMO OR MAGS SHIPPED TO YOUR HOUSE AND / OR NEED IT SHIPPED TO A FFL IN ORDER TO RECEIVE IT. WE WILL NOT SHIP THE AMMO. YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. Lost / Stolen Package
Onyx Arms provides a tracking number upon order processing. If you do not receive a tracking number by email, please email us at staff@onyxarms.com . If the lost package is a result of a mistake on Onyx Arms, we will replace the lost parts or provide a full refund. If the lost package is the result of the courier’s mistake, shipping charges will not be refunded by Onyx Arms and the contents of the packages will not be reimbursed. Onyx Arms will assist with arrangements for replacement parts and with the claims process as needed.
Shipping to APO
Due to ITAR Regulations, Onyx Arms, LLC will not ship to APOs outside the USA
While we proudly support the Members of the US Military deployed around the world and believe that it is a great privilege to service their needs, we must fully comply with all United States export control laws and regulations. Under these laws and regulations, a shipment for personal use to an APO/FPO that is physically located outside of the United States must be considered an Export, regardless of your military service status, rank, etc.

Magazine Shipping Restrictions
Any orders placed for magazines that are not legal in your state will immediately be refunded and restocked and may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
*LE/Military: Duty use items are exempt from restrictions with proper verification. When creating an account, please select the LE/Military checkbox. Once the account is created, you will receive an email with further instructions to complete the LE/Military account registration.
California: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in CA except to law enforcement or customers with high capacity magazine permit.
Chicago and other counties within IL: No magazines over the below capacities will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in the following areas.
- Aurora, Illinois: maximum capacity of 15 rounds
- Cook County, Illinois: maximum capacity of 10 rounds
- Chicago, Illinois: maximum capacity of 10 rounds
Colorado: No magazines over 15 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in CO.
Connecticut: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in CT. As of 10/1/13 in order to comply with CT Senate Bill No. 1160 magazines holding 10 rounds or less can only be purchased if buyer provides a copy of driver’s license and ONE of the following: state handgun carry permit, long gun certificate, or ammunition certificate.
District of Columbia: No magazines over 10 rounds capacity will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in DC.
Hawaii: No magazines over 10 rounds that are compatible with any pistol (to include magazines compatible with both a pistol and rifle) will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in HI.
Maryland: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in MD.
Massachusetts: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in MA.
New Jersey: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in NJ.
New York: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in NY.
Vermont: No magazines over 10 rounds for Rifles and over 15 rounds for Pistols will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in VT.
