Description
Up for your consideration are original (NOT a reproduction) Colt manufactured Type D stocks (No trapdoor) that came off of EARLY U.S. Army Vietnam Era M16A1’s. These stocks are in FAIR Condition, which is as follows:
- There MAY be bulges, dents and/or hairline cracks present (usually these cracks are so small that they do not affect the structural integrity of the stock at all; they can be easily repaired with epoxy and the like)
- Will definitely require some cleaning and restoration.
- Hardware not cleaned; may or may not be salvageable. Most likely will need to be replaced.
- NOTE: This is a cheap, do it yourself restoration project and labor of love. DO NOT order this item if you are not wanting to put in the work. It may arrive in really good condition with only minor fixes needed, or it my require sanding, refinishing etc. its just random. If you are willing to put in the work, there is no better deal out there for an original item like this. Sold as is / No Returns.
This is NOT a reproduction. This is the real thing, and would be perfect for your clone (or original) rifle. Any questions please feel free to ask!
